WiW...Look At Me I'm A Yo-Yo

Seriously I really do feel like a damn yo-yo…down a little up a little.  This week up almost a pound.  Looks like I'm not going to make my goal of getting into the 160 by the time vacay rolls around unless I chop off a limb or something.  *Sigh*

Ugh I am really getting tired of this I feel as though I am taking two steps forward and one step back.
I have been hitting it hardhat the gym doing HIIT workouts and lifting last week I only took one rest day.

I have been doing pretty good with food (not perfect but ok) I'm tracking my calories and staying with in them (except for maybe a day a week) but even then it's not super over.

I really feel like I am in a slump. *sigh again*

Any one have any advice?? Help

  1. Wish I had some words of wisdom but I've been on the same damn plateau now for a effing year! All I can say is just to keep plugging on. The weight will eventually start falling off again (that's what they tell me anyway...)

  2. I hit a slump like that too - for about two months. It was the same thing - I was working out like a maniac six days a week and thought food choices were good. Started measuring my food intake and realized I was eating wayyyy too much even though it was all good food. Started measuring out 6 oz protein, 1 cup veggies, 1/2 cup carb for each of the three meals a day and then two small snacks each day (ten almonds or piece of fruit). Also, no food (only water water water) after 6PM and now I am dropping weight like crazy every day again!!!

  3. Is it called a slump if it has been all of 2014? Because I'm with ya!

  4. My advice is to just keep going. Don't give up. Don't let your plateau become an excuse to invite bad habits into your life.

  5. Maybe its time to switch up your nutrition or switch up your workouts. Sometimes you need a little something extra to get off of a plateau. I had a dental surgery that helped me off of a plateau because I couldn't eat, which I don't recommend that route. Esther Norine Designs p.s. my blogger account is no-reply. Thank you so much for taking time to comment. I love to read them and I respond to every one. If you have not gotten a response it is probably because you are a "no-reply" blogger and I am unable too.

You can fix it by going to your BLOGGER ACCOUNTS then click on your Dashboard, go to EDIT PROFILE and check mark SHOW MY EMAIL ADDRESS, Then click save settings. This will allow you to get return comments :)
